There are a limited number of International Students
This means only 1 International Student is placed per homeroom class, enabling them to be fully immersed in an English speaking environment.
Orientation
International Students are welcomed to GEIS, placed in a homeroom class with 2-3 designated buddies/support students. These Kiwi students will take them on a tour of the school and act as a support throughout their study at GEIS.

Regular pastoral care interviews, 24/7 care, 1st Language Support.
Academic Support for Internationals
ESOL/small group English lessons, In class support, International Buddies, 1st Language support.
Caring Homestay Families
A ‘home away from home.’ These local families are friendly and welcoming, embracing our International Students and their culture.
