School Uniform
School hats will be compulsory from week 2 of school at lunchtimes and when classes are outside for long periods. Students who do not have a school hat will be asked to sit by the pool at lunchtimes in the shade. The school uniform shop sells the plain black bucket hat and plain black caps. Students are to come to school in full school uniform but can go home in their P.E. gear. Students will need their P.E. gear at school every day. https://www.geis.school.nz/information/uniform

Phones
Students are allowed to bring a phone to school however all phones are locked up in the class safe for the entire school day and given back to students at the end of the day. Students have no access to phones during the day. If families need to contact their children then please contact the school office.
Student medications
If any student is taking medication these medicines need to be dropped off at our Health Centre clearly labeled with the students name, room number and dosage. Students are then administered with the medication at the Health Centre.
Drop offs and Pick ups
Can we please ask all families to drop off and pick up students at the front or back gates. Please avoid driving into school to drop off and pick up students as this is a safety risk to our students.
All senior leaders are available to discuss any concerns you may have :)
